No email marketing platform is best. Here are things that have troubled me about ActiveCampaign: Cumbersome e-mail modifying experience. I got ruined with MailChimp’s e-mail editor. You have to develop everything from scratch. But on ActiveCampaign, you need to develop all of these from scratch, which steepens the learning curve. When I initially signed up with ActiveCampaign, efficiency was painfully slow. Efficiency has improved significantly, but I still periodically experience slow performance, mostly in seeing reports. The features can be frustrating. Because you can do anything with ActiveCampaign, there are a lot of features to arrange through. If you aren’t going to put in time to learn the ins and outs of ActiveCampaign, you might be much better off with a more simple platform, such as MailChimp, or perhaps ConvertKit is more simple.
